Junior artists, technicians and producers of theater industry appeal to government for financial support, Artists say that theaters have been closed for two months and they are having a hard time. While everyone is affected by the current situation and the lockdown, junior artists, technicians and stage producers from the theater industry have also been affected.
Stage actors Saqi Khan, Razi Khan, Irfan Fana, Hamid Rangeela and producers Qaiser Sanaullah Khan, Akbar Butt, Ali Jamshed and Saif Goraiya have appealed to the government for help.
He said that with the closure of the theater, the condition of day laborers and technicians has deteriorated. The government has distributed billions of rupees to deserving people.
In the same way, support should be given to stage artists. Chairman Theater Action Committee Qaiser Sanaullah Khan has appealed to the government to save the artists from death.
Theaters should be allowed to open on Eid-ul-Fitr by setting up SOPs so that employees, artists and technicians do not remain unemployed.
