The screening of all Pakistani films released on Eid-ul-Fitr has been stopped. Given the current situation, the release of the films will be announced when the situation improves.

While the corona virus has gripped the entire world, the entertainment industry has been hit the hardest. While Hollywood and Bollywood movies have been stopped, the screening of Pakistani film industry’s comedy-romantic film Touch Button, which was released on Eid-ul-Fitr, has also been stopped.

It has been decided not to released films across the country, including Lahore, on Eid-ul-Fitr, including Touch Button, Tere Bajre Di Rakhi and others.

The cast of the film Touch Button includes actors Farhan Saeed, Feroz Khan, and Iman Ali among others. The film’s director Qasim Ali Mureed told City 42 that the film will now be released on Eid-ul-Adha. Qasim Ali Mureed says that if the situation remains the same on Eid-ul-Adha, then it will be decided where and how to release the film.

Due to the current situation( Covid-19 pandemic), the films have been stopped due to the closure of cinemas and if the situation improves, new dates will be announced.

The film The Legend of Mula Jutt was also scheduled to be released on Eid-ul-Fitr but preparations are still underway to stop the screening of the film on Eid. While the situation improves, the films will be released on Eid-ul-Adha.
