According to the details, this is the first martyrdom in the Pakistani army due to the global corona virus epidemic. Major Muhammad Asghar, who was in charge of protecting the motherland at Torkham border, lost his life today due to corona virus.

The sad news was announced on the Twitter account of the Director General of ISPR, the Pakistan Army’s public relations agency. The DG ISPR said in his tweet, “Major Muhammad Asghar died to fulfill his duty in the fight against corona virus at Torkham border, he was brought to CMH Peshawar due to respiratory problems. He was transferred to Ventilator, but he could not survive. There is no greater cause than serving the nation.

The Pakistan Army is currently assisting the civilian agencies against the global epidemic of Corona and is reaching out to the affected people in this difficult time and providing relief to them.
