The outbreak of corona-virus has left 107 people dead and 5,988 affected in Pakistan, while 44 are in critical condition.
According to the National Command and Operation Center, 272 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours and 11 people lost their lives. Punjab reported the highest number of 2945 Corona virus cases. Sindh has 1,518 cases, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 865 and 240 cases in Baluchistan, 234 in Corona in Gilgit-Baltistan, 140 in Islamabad and 46 in Azad Kashmir.
For the past several days, the number of people in health care has been increasing and the number has reached 1446. According to statistics, 508 people were recovered in Punjab, 427 in Sindh, 178 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 175 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 137 in Balochistan, 17 in Islamabad, 4 in Azad Kashmir.
55% of Corona virus cases were reported locally while 45% of cases coming from overseas.
In Punjab, 216 areas have been declared as hotspot areas while 14 more areas of Lahore have also been sealed.
