Beijing: Chinese city of Wuhan defeats corona virus, no case of corona virus reported in Wuhan for last 10 days
The global corona virus began in the Chinese city of Wuhan, but now Chinese officials say Wuhan has defeated the coronavirus. The Chinese National Health Commission says all corona virus patients have been discharged in Wuhan, bringing the number of coronavirus patients in Wuhan to zero
According to officials, no case of corona virus has been reported in Wuhan in the last 10 days. Three months and a few days have passed since the first death from the virus in Wuhan, during which time 46,452 cases of the corona virus have been reported in Wuhan alone, with more than 3,000 deaths.
Wuhan was locked down to control the virus, which ended on April 7, 76 days later. Across China, including Wuhan, the virus infected 82,827 people, of whom 4,632 died.
The virus has now spread from China to the rest of the world, with 2,931,710 people infected with the virus and the death toll exceeding 200,000.
