Eid-ul-Fitr holidays have been announced for public and private institutions in Saudi Arabia. According to the Saudi Ministry of Labor, Eid-ul-Fitr holidays will be from 21 Ramadan to 8 Shawwal in government institutions and from 29 Ramadan in private institutions.

According to the royal decree, there will be a 24-hour lockdown across the country from the 30th of Ramadan to the 4th of Shawwal, the last fast of the month of Ramadan and the Eid holidays. A 24-hour curfew will be maintained in Makkah while permission of the concerned department has been declared mandatory for leaving the city.
