Results of Smart Samples Test of more than 4000 Corona in Lahore. The Punjab government had conducted these tests randomly from different areas of Lahore. According to the focal person of Punjab Chief Minister, 4100 random tests of corona were done in Lahore in which corona virus was confirmed in 214 people while corona test was negative in 3886 people.
The people tested by the Punjab government include people from different residential areas, healthcare professionals, pharmacies, retail shops, police, media houses, cowboys, delivery boys, etc.
In the Smart Samples test, 5.2 per cent people have been diagnosed with the corona virus, while under normal circumstances, the Punjab government tests suspected patients or people coming from abroad.It may be recalled that a few days ago, Dr Yasmeen Rashid had said that random tests would be conducted on more than 10,000 people belonging to different fields in Lahore. 4100 tests have been done in the first phase while 4900 more tests are being done in the second phase.
Based on the results of the random test, it is hoped that after the completion of 10,000 tests, more tests will be conducted on shopkeepers, vegetable sellers, factory workers and other people who are related to the general public.
