SAN FRANCISCO: WhatsApp, the world’s largest mobile messaging app, has made three changes.
WA Beta Info, an organization that monitors WhatsApp, has recommended that management change its policy regarding status or last-time online visits and provide more features. It is recommended that the WhatsApp administration change the status or last time online setting and introduce a feature that allows users to select any number they want and then view the last online time or status.
The second recommendation is to introduce a status archive feature in the style of Instagram so that any photo or video that is shared is automatically saved in the mobile.
The third recommendation is to introduce a vacation feature in the WhatsApp as well, such as if a person is on vacation and he does not want to reply to anyone, he will be introduced to a button in the settings so that he can use it automatically. The message will reach the sender himself.
Remember that the status feature was introduced by WhatsApp a year and a half ago, after which if a user shares a video, photo or text, it will automatically expire after 24 hours.
The company had earlier allowed users to share a 30-second video, but has since reduced it to 10 seconds.
