Lahore: The Punjab government has introduced an app called ‘Taleem Ghar’ for the convenience of students in lockdown

According to the information, Chairman Punjab Information Technology Board Azfar Manzoor said that with the help of the app, students can get modern education at home.

He said that cable, TV channels and website have also been launched along with the education house app. Initially, lectures on mathematics and science will be given to the students of first to eighth classes.

Chairman Punjab Board for Information Technology said that the app has eight animated teachers who are giving lectures to students through video from Monday to Thursday.

Azfar Manzoor said that the app was introduced only after the test, the experience was very good and encouraging results came out, hundreds of students are getting modern education at home with the help of the app. Earlier on March 30, the Punjab government introduced an online system for university students across the province, under which students are being given online classes and studying their curriculum from the comfort of their own homes. The main purpose of the decision was to continue the education of the children in the lockdown as all educational institutions across the province have been closed till May 30 due to the dangers of Corona
