Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry gave the good news, saying that cheap and standard ventilators will soon be available to deal with Corona as NUST has made testing kits while Comsats has made its own ventilator.

Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry attended an exhibition of medical devices and products at Comcast Headquarters yesterday. Addressing the function, Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan planned to manufacture medical equipment as soon as the cases of corona came to light. And produce the best products in a very short time, which can not only meet your needs but also be sent abroad. He used to ask for N-95 masks for 1100 rupees we import but now we are making it only for 90 rupees.

Fawad Chaudhry said that when two cases of corona came to light in Pakistan on February 26, we were not manufacturing medical devices and equipment at that time, so heavy medical devices and products were imported from abroad. They were in short supply due to the spread of the Karuna epidemic all over the world. In developed countries like the United States and France, there were protests against the shortage of medical equipment and products for doctors.

In this situation, we tried to manufacture medical equipment in our own country. Prime Minister Imran Khan also attended the occasion for which Fawad Chaudhry thanked him.
