According to the news Pakistan’s religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel called on Prime Minister Imran Khan at the Prime Minister’s House on Wednesday. In a one-on-one meeting between the two, Maulana Tariq Jamil praised Prime Minister Imran Khan’s actions against the Corona virus.
Prime Minister Imran Khan told Maulana Tariq Jamil at the meeting that the government has appealed to the other Islamic Scholars to cooperate to control the outbreak and he will meet the Ulema soon. He added that he wanted to protect the citizens against the pandemic and the clerics always provided guidance to the government in difficult times.
During his meeting with Maulana Tariq Jameel, the Prime Minister stressed the need for developing a strategy for Ramadan next month after consulting with the scholars. Maulana Tariq Jamil assured full cooperation of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
