A meeting of the delegation of Pharmaceutical Association with Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, donated Rs. 5 million to the Corona Relief Fund. Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that as we have security equipment coming, it is being sent to the respective hospitals. He said that rich people do help in the difficult times ahead.

Addressing a function of Punjab Development Network, Governor Punjab said that joint efforts to help the needy have been successful. So far, 2 lac people have been rationed from the Punjab Development Network platform.

He said that the delivery of goods to doctors, nurses and para-medics staff is a priority. I will take strong action against those who will not give 10% discount to the medical stores.

Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that ration bags were being delivered to people’s homes without any hassle. Sarwar Foundation has also distributed 20,000 ration bags in Toba Tek Singh and Sahiwal area. “All NGOs are happy to come to a platform and participate in relief operations,” he said.

It is clear that the Corona virus that is causing the worldwide devastation is spreading in Pakistan too. In Pakistan, the virus has infected 7025 people till now and has taken 135 lives Of the 135 deaths so far from Corona virus across the country, 45 have died in Sindh, 36 in Punjab, 45 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5 in Balochistan, 3 in Gilgit-Baltistan and one in Islamabad.
