Talking to a private TV channel, Gharida Farooqi said, “I kept telling people to stay indoors. I stayed indoors for four months, February, March, April, and May, and spent four months at home.” It was very hot in Islamabad these days and my cats got sick due to heatstroke. It was the only time I left home, it was after Eid. I took my cats to the animal clinic but even there I was very careful, not touching anything there.

Gharida Farooqi added that on June 1, I started having symptoms of corona when I had a dry cough and a sore throat. Then I decided that what I really needed to do was learn how to do it right. I tested positive

Gharida Farooqi further said that if I have been suffering from corona due to staying out for a few hours, then there are people who are constantly living out of the house.

According to Gharida Farooqi, Corona was spreading even during the lockdown because the lockdown was nominal but after the lockdown it spread a lot. People are doing a lot of carelessness, God! People understand that Corona is not a drama.

Gharida Farooqi further said that she is recovering now, Prime Minister Imran Khan is right that there is no need to panic, Corona has to take seriously but not panic.
