Doctors Rejected awards formula

Teaching hospitals reject government formula to reward doctors and staff working in Corona epidemic, in response to the order sent to Specialized Health, the teaching hospitals said that all doctors and staff should be awarded without any discrimination.

At the behest of the government, on May 11, the Department of Specialized Health sought information from teaching hospitals about the support staff, including doctors, nurses and paramedics, who are on duty directly in the Corona ward, he was to be paid a basic salary.

Teaching hospitals have rejected this formula outright. Teaching hospitals have responded to the Department of Specialized Health by saying that this non-discriminatory formula is of great concern to doctors and medical staff.

Instead of corona isolation, all doctors and staff should be rewarded as there is an equal risk of infection to those working in hospitals. Teaching hospitals have called for a review of the discriminatory policy of awarding rewards.

Meanwhile, a clinical pharmacy has been started in Services Hospital for the proper use of medicines in patients. 25 Pharmacists and 3 Deputy Drug Controllers have been recruited to strengthen the Clinic Pharmacy in Services Hospital. In addition, an introductory session was held at the Institute of Mental on the completion of recruitment of 15 Clinical Psychologists and a Speech Therapist.

Principal Services institute of Medical Sciences(SIMS) Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ayaz, Vice Principal Prof. Dr. Muhammad Amjad, MS Services Dr. Iftikhar Ahmed and Executive Director Mental Hospital Dr. Muhammad Ashraf and other officials were also present on the occasion.

Prof. Dr. Mahmood Ayaz said that the purpose of launching Clinical Pharmacy is to ensure the supply of correct quantity of medicines to the patients as per the international standards. Dr. Mahmood Ayaz said that a clinical pharmacist is being appointed in every ward.
