The Number of Corona Virus Cases may increase in Pakistan up to 200,000 if the preventive measures are not taken seriously, said by World Health organization (WHO)

As per WHO Director General (DG) Dr Tedros Adhanom, who was talking at the Launch of a virtual gathering titled “Pakistan National Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan”, without compelling interventions, there could be an expected 200,000 cases by mid-July, the effects of which on the economy could be destroying and the double number of peoples living in neediness.

He said that the necessary financing for the arrangement was $595 million, which would be distributed to help different measures. We should act in solidarity, with an intelligent, facilitated approach,” Dr Tedros was cited as saying.

The announcement from the worldwide well being body comes when corona virus cases in Pakistan have arrived at 10,982 with at any rate 230 fatalities.
